“SMART City Kazan”, one of the key construction projects in Tatarstan, will be added by a new object. JSC “Development Corporation of the Republic of Tatarstan” and LLC “Eidos”, a resident of Technopark “Idea”, signed an Agreement, under which a Medical Research Centre to be established in “Smart” city, informs RBC.
The issue of the Centre establishment was discussed in 2012 – the project and the amount to be invested (RUB 1.2 Billion) were presented at that time. According to RBC, the Centre will be engaged in the development of innovative medical products, medicines and advanced training of health workers in high-tech medicine. In addition, there will be available post-graduate education. The Centre is open for cooperation: domestic and foreign health care companies and educational institutions can participate in its work.
The location area of “Medical Research Centre “Eidos” is currently selected. The project developers have two options: the first – in Scientific and Educational Sector "SMART City Kazan" and the second - in the area of Special Economic Zone.
