According to the press service of the President of the Republic, Tatarstan plans to open a branch of Technopolis “Himgrad” and assembly production of medical robots simulators of the company “Eidos-Medicine” in Uzbekistan in the framework of the implementation of the cooperation agreement signed in May. “We are preparing an action plan for implementing of the cooperation agreement signed in May this year. The document covers all areas: trade and economic, scientific and technical, cultural spheres”, - the words of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov are quoted by his press service after the meeting with the Akim of Tashkent region Gulomzhon Ibragimov.
One of the projects envisaged by the roadmap for the implementation of the agreement is the creation of the branch of the Tatarstan Technopolis “Himgrad” in the region. “We want to create this structure together with the Tashkent region. There are already entrepreneurs who are ready to develop their business on this site. We will send managers and technologies. For its part, the Tashkent region will support in providing the necessary infrastructure”, - Minnikhanov said.
Another promising area of cooperation, as noted, is a project of the company “Eidos-Medicine”, involving the creation of the assembly production of medical robot simulators for the needs of Uzbekistan in the Tashkent region. “The leadership of Uzbekistan is focused on the use of these technologies”, - Tatarstan President said.
It is also planned to establish traditional trade relations: to organize wholesale deliveries of products of the Tashkent region to Tatarstan and to promote Tatarstan goods to the market of Uzbekistan. According to Minnikhanov, a special structure will be created for this purpose.
Technopolis “Himgrad” is a modern industrial park for business in the field of chemistry and polymer processing, the project area of buildings exceeds 500 thousand square meters. It was established in 2007. “Himgrad” provides residents with areas and land plots with integrated engineering infrastructure, which allows for a quick start of production. As part of the implementation of large-scale projects in the Technopark, a variety of infrastructure forms are being created: experimental laboratories, engineering centers and experimental trainee sites. In particular, the Center of energy saving and pharmaceutical module of the Nanotechnology Center of Tatarstan are located in “Himgrad”. Currently, more than 100 residents operate on the territory of “Himgrad”
