These days students of Kazan National Research Technological University – Kazan Aviation Institute have passed the intermediate certification using the professional examination procedure. The guys confirmed their knowledge on the qualification of the 6th level “Engineer for technical support of the technological base for the production of quantum electronics and photonics devices”.
The exam checks and evaluates the readiness of university students to work in a particular field of activity, which allows the employer to save money on staff search and reduce the risks of the production process. Those who pass the exam successfully, in turn, get an opportunity for further employment in an enterprise. All these factors contribute to increasing the competitiveness in their field of each participant of the independent assessment of qualifications.
It should be noted that the exam was held within the framework of a pilot project to expand the portfolio of services provided by the Qualification Assessment Centre in the nanotechnology industry in the direction of “Implementing the provisions of professional standards in the educational programs of universities (colleges) related to nanotechnology and adapting assessment tools for attesting students.”
