A unique Russian project will be presented at the IV St. Petersburg International Innovation Forum on September 28, 2011. The Forum is dedicated to the development of nanoscale delivery systems of hormonal and antitumor drugs.
Only 5 laboratories (USA, Israel, Europe) in the world are engaged in similar developments. The Project is included in the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Strategy of the Russian Federation through 2020.
The object of the project – the development of advanced drug delivery systems for humans based on the nanotechnology.
The created nanoscale drug delivery systems will promote the bioavailability of highly active drugs 10 times or more that is not reached by the previous developments.
The Project is implemented by LLC “Izvarino Pharma” jointly with CJSC “Innovational production Technopark “Idea” and LLC “Technology Transfer Centre” in the Technopolis “Himgrad”. It is expected that the Complex will be operated at full capacity in the I quarter of 2012.
