State noncommercial organization “Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan” (hereinafter referred to as IVF RT), State noncommercial organization “Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology” (hereinafter the Fund for Assistance) and Closed Joint-Stock Company “Innovational production Technopark “IDEA” (hereinafter Technopark) continue the competitive selection of projects within the Programme of innovative projects "Idea-1000" (hereinafter - the Programme) among the participants of the VII republican competition "The Fifty Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan". The Program implementation requires innovative projects with high innovational potential that consists in the ability to create, protect and commercialize of intellectual property that has high market potential and interest to investors. In-parallel participation of projects in the competitive selection of this Programme and programmes of the Fund for Assistance is forbidden.
The Program involves all directions of financial support, provided by the IVF RT and the Fund for Assistance and includes 3 nominations:

«Youth Innovation Project»;

«START - I»;
-
«START - II».
Over 40 projects of research and development are selected in the nomination “Youth Innovation Project”. The winners receive parity financing for the project implementation up to 220 000 roubles from IVF RT and up to 220 000 from the Fund for Assistance.
The competititve selection takes into consideration:
- research and technology novelty;
- age of the applicant up to 28;
- the ability to commercialise the results of the project in the midium term (5-6 years).
The “START-I” nomination selects 30 projects for research and development that satisfy the requirements of the “START” programme of the Fund for Assistance.
The winners receive parity financing for the project implementation up to 1 million roubles form IVF RT and up to 1 million roubles from the Fund for Association.
The “START-I” nomination includes an additional nomination “Start in the nanotechnology” (“Start-NT”). This nomination provides funding for up to 10 projects in the amount of 1 million roubles from IVF RT and 1 million roubles from the Fund for Assistance.
The “START-II” selects up to 5 applications. These projects should meet the requirements of the “START” programme (the second year) of the Fund for Assistance.
The winners of the “START-II” Programme nomination recieve a parity financing for the project implementation up to 2 million roubles from IVF RT and up to 2 million roubles from the Fund for Assistance. To participate in the competitive selection of “START-II”, the participants should present a business plan of the project that meets the requirements of the Fund for Assistance.
Organisation, holding the selection and summing up of the competitive selection are carried out by the Orginizing Committee of the Program.
Receipt of applications is carried out till the 14th of October, 2011. The information about the deadlines, procedures, contiditions and the results of the competitive selection of projects are published on the websites of the IVF RT (www.ivfrt.ru) and Tehnopark (www.tpidea.ru).
Summarizing of the Programme competitive selection and announcement of winners are carried out till the 30th of December, 2011.
