The heading “Jolly Life” which broadcasts on Monday on TC “Ren-TV. Naberezhnye Chelny” has a new series! But today it is dedicated not to a certain native of Chelny (with an interesting hobby or vivid way of life) and the whole group of enthusiastic people. They are thrown together by a common interest in the Youth Innovation Creativity Centre where the guys implement their most bold ideas and even earn it. There are totally 10 similar centres in the Republic, one of which - in Naberezhnye Chelny.
Before the idea becomes true, it is necessary to prepare a digital prototype model. To the effect, the Youth Innovation Creativity Centre is equipped with powerful computers that can easily process any graphical information. Then the prototype model is sent to the router, laser engraver or a cutter (it works with the paper).
Irina Romanova, a student of the YICC: “An image is pressed in it. Then, for example, red is glued with separate pieces. Then green – with separate pieces and so on piece by piece. And on top, where stretching is required for the indication of machine shape’s volume, they are blown with airbrush”.
And the paper is only the start. The device makes possible to work with leather, plastic and organic glass. Also there is the possibility of applying a colored metal engraving. One of the most compliant material - wood. It can be decorated with an image and cut out the various parts.
Olga Pankova, a student of the YICC: “I have designed copyrighted backgammon. For the purpose I prepared and matched specific drawings. Everything was prepared in lines, texture and color. Then the program transferred and sent to the printer”.
Laser performed the rest of the work. Since the Centre’s opening it was attended by 300 students with familiarization tours and about 70 students are now engaged in the Centre. These students can now make a profit from the creation of projects and master models.
Pavel Alekseevsky, Director of the YICC: “We are obliged to provide ourselves. Accordingly, we have part of commercial projects, especially commercial projects, when we carry out orders using this equipment. And we have semi-commercial projects when the partial co-financing is provided by an organization or a party, or a student, and by our party, the Centre”.
The Centre management plans to fit up the Centre with additional equipment. The new device will allow for inscribing inside the glass block. But it will be in the future. There are currently sufficient facilities to implement the ideas.
