“Tatarstan Erudite” has united 1,600 schoolchildren

The final of the IX Republican competition “Tatarstan Erudite” was held on  April 14, 2017 at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The first online round brought together 1,600 schoolchildren from Tatarstan. The participants, who showed the highest results in 10 subject disciplines, answered the questions of the teachers of the Kazan Federal University and the scientists of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, both in the curriculum and outside the school curriculum.

Within the second round an intellectual competition Nano-IQ was held, organized by Technopark “Idea”. The nomination has been held since 2011 and is aimed at increasing interest in nanotechnology, nanomaterials and nanosystems and to motivate students to deepen and expand the knowledge about modern trends in the development of the interdisciplinary field of fundamental and applied science and technology. 67 participants of the nomination passed a written and oral selection round. Valentina Danilova (Kazan, school No. 9) became the winner in this nomination. Arslan Akhmetiyanov, student of the 39th school of Kazan, took place the second place and the third was Amir Gareev (Nizhnekamsk, Lyceum No. 35).

Erudite of Tatarstan among the pupils of the 7-9th grades became:

I place - Dmitry Nikiforov (grade 8) Lyceum No. 35 of Nizhnekamsk city;

II place – Ildar Saubanov (grade 7) Gymnasium No. 2 named after B. Urmanche of Nizhnekamsk city;

III place – Nailya Galeeva (grade 7) Karazirek secondary school of Stary Karazerik village; Diana Kovaleva (grade 8) Lyceum No. 35 of Nizhnekamsk city.

Among the pupils of the 10-11th grades, the winners were:

I place - Amir Mennibaev (10 grade) IT-lyceum of KFU of Kazan;

II place - Bikbulat Khabibullin (10 grade) IT-lyceum of KFU of Kazan;

III place - Valentina Danilova (11 grade) School No.  9 with in-depth study of the English language of Kazan;  Amir Gareev (11 class) Lyceum No. 35 of Nizhnekamsk city.

The winners were awarded by Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Vadim Khomenko and presented them with the memorable gifts of the organizing committee of the contest and ICL Company.
