Today the III specialized exhibition “Nanotechnology. Kazan-2011” and the XII international conference “Nanotechnology in industry” in the line of “Environmentally safe nanotechnology in industry” have been opened.
Exhibitors: Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan city hall, OJSC “Kazanskaya Yarmarka” supported by the President and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, OJSC “RUSNANO”.
In the welcoming speech the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that in the last 2 years the International specialized exhibition “Nanotechnology. Kazan” and the International theoretical and practical conference “Nanotechnology in industry” have proven to be an effective communicative innovative platform for the development of new efficient solutions to promote innovative processes, to work out practical proposals for the development of innovative economy.
“Today it is impossible to imagine the implemented projects on expansion of petrochemical industry, gas chemistry, machine building and aircraft industry without innovation, including nanotechnology”, - says Rustam Minnikhanov.
The opening ceremony was also attended by the Deputy plenipotentiary of the President of Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Alexey Kubrin, deputy president of OJSC “RUSNANO”, director of the Fund for infrastructure and educational programs Andrei Svinarenko, the first deputy prime minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Muratov, President of Russian Nanotechnology society, general director of CJSC “NT-MDT” Victor Bykov and others.
The III International specialized exhibition “Nanotechnology. Kazan 2011” presents 92 companies participants from 10 Russian regions including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Yaroslavl and Orenburg regions, Chuvashia etc., as well as the participants from the USA and Japan.
The stand of the Republic of Tatarstan represents informational content about innovation and scientific potential of the Republic, Nanotechnology Centre “Idea”, Tatarstan priority projects on construction, petro chemistry, medicine and machine building.

On the official opening ceremony of the plenary session of the XII International theoretical and practical conference “Nanotechnology in industry” in the line of “Environmentally safe nanotechnology in industry” Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov told the guests and the participants that the created Nanotechnology center at Technopark “Idea” would be equipped with modern laboratory, experimental, metrological and analytical equipment. Nanocenter “Idea”, the purpose of which is to commercialize technologies, will become the key element of the existing innovation infrastructure of the republic and integrate the work of scientists, technologists and project developers.
Also, the round table conference “Cooperation between the Fund for infrastructure and educational program and independent manufacturers of innovation, including nanotechnology, products” was held on the 20th of November, 2011.
There will be launched 6 theme sections: “Nanotechnology in oil and gas industry”, “Nanotechnology in aerospace industry and machine building”, ” The technology of specialists training for nanoindustry”, “Nanoscience and nanotechnology: fundamental and applied aspects”, “Nanotechnology for solving medicobiologic problems” and “Nanotechnology in construction” in the line of the conference program on the 1st of December, 2011.
The Joint session of the Republican interdepartmental Committee on the development of nanoidustry in the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Nanotechnology society will be held on the 2nd of December.
